Got tickets for seeing it this Tuesday; it essentially got dumped by the Spanish distrib and it's hard to find a screen, even in Barcelona. I'm dying to see it, though.

Three episodes into Star Wars Rebels. It's some lighthearted fun so far, and has the "motley crew on a starship" thing going.

And I have to say I geek out quite a bit about stuff like the awesome level of detail on the TIE-Fighters (even though the proportions are a tad off, more like the original Kenner toy, with the foils slightly too short vertically), or that a lot of the design is inspired by Ralph McQuarrie's concept paintings. Or that they dig into the annals of Star Wars stuff and bring back things like this (impractical as they are):

I tried to watch the first eps of Rebels, but I found it too childish. Might give it a go, pretty sure that troop carrier was in the RPG manuals I used to run Star Wars campaigns when I was a teen :nerd:

It's not as dark as some of the later Clone Wars episodes, but they're still at the character introduction stage. It's not Shakespeare, but it's a fun action cartoon so far which is enough to keep me interested so far. :)

You should be.  It's extra-great.

Talented Mr. Ripley on the telly. I just love that movie. Pity Minghella died so young  :(

The medievals were only too right in taking nolo episcopari as the best reason a man could give to others for making him a bishop. Give me a king whose chief interest in life is stamps, railways, or race-horses; and who has the power to sack his Vizier (or whatever you care to call him) if he does not like the cut of his trousers.

Government is an abstract noun meaning the art and process of governing and it should be an offence to write it with a capital G or so as to refer to people.

That last episode of "Dig" was just abysmal.

Caught a second episode of Silicon Valley, the one with the angel investor and his arm candy Russian squeeze.  Enjoyed.  The main dudes are delightfully weird looking.

If nothing else, watch the last three episodes (they form an arc); the season finale is actually very good IMHO.

Maybe Ep. 9 (which is kind of an extended Empire Strikes Back cave scene) for some character building.

With the Disney takeover, most Expanded Universe is out the window. IIRC, the canon is now the movies, The Clone Wars movie/series (including some stories that were developed for it and later released as comics), and Rebels.

Which means that Lando laying the moves on Hera and Sabine and smuggling a truffle ore sniffing pig through the Imperial blockade actually happened in continuity (Ep. 10). :P

This is Where I Leave You.  Jason Bateman, Tina Fey, and friends are a deracinated Jewish family that reunites for the father's funeral.  7 parts family drama, 3 parts comedy.  Some pacing issues but watchable.
