OC? You mean the teenybopper relationship drama?

Actually no. I got it mixed up with that prison show. Although thinking about it, the two certainly have much the same social dynamics in that they're both featuring people from all walks of life forced together against their will for large parts of the day into confined spaces in order to protect the rest of society against them.

Maybe I was thinking about The Wire. Not a prison show per se I guess, though it features a lot of brown people and shots in prisons which granted goes hand in hand so the confusion is not really strange.

The Big C had an episode that involved going to a bear bar. Cute. :D

I read "beer bar" first and thought it was a bit risque.

How do you people find time to watch tv series ?

I manage to catch the news one or twice a day and that's about it.

I'm looking for a new show to watch.

Weeds iz good?

Not really.  If you're into glorification of criminality, go with Breaking Bad instead.

Habbaku

  Yeah; Jesse and Walter are totally glorified.
The medievals were only too right in taking nolo episcopari as the best reason a man could give to others for making him a bishop. Give me a king whose chief interest in life is stamps, railways, or race-horses; and who has the power to sack his Vizier (or whatever you care to call him) if he does not like the cut of his trousers.

Government is an abstract noun meaning the art and process of governing and it should be an offence to write it with a capital G or so as to refer to people.

Touché.

Walt isn't really a criminal though. I like to think of him like an antibiotic. He produces the toxines that kill the street filth.

I make time for them.

I watch Gordon Ramsay abuse people Monday and Tuesday at 8pm. After that, I've generally stopped caring.

The first season was really good, season 2 is pretty meh... Bear Bars are just Jumping the Shark.
First Maxim - "There are only two amounts, too few and enough."
First Corollary - "You cannot have too many soldiers, only too few supplies."
Second Maxim - "Be willing to exchange a bad idea for a good one."
Second Corollary - "You can only be wrong or agree with me."

A terrorist which starts a slaughter quoting Locke, Burke and Mill has completely missed the point.
The fact remains that the only person or group to applaud the Norway massacre are random Islamists.

Well, compared with Oz they're living the high life.

I think it is tough to wring out several seasons of a woman dying. But I agree it was better with the first season where she was acting seemingly crazy. Liked the bit of sauciness that came out when they suggested she step down from coaching.

Then, you get your talented team of writers, producers and directors and make a show about something else.

We don't bike everywhere so we have time to catch some shows. Also, Americans seem to DVR everything these days.
