13 Assassins - Well made old school Samurai flick from weirdo Japanese director (and workaholic the dude makes like 3 movies a year or something) Takashi Miike. This is his best flick in a decade in my opinion. The last 45 minutes are a whole great big can of awesome Samurai whoop ass. Like the end of the Matrix except good. Samurai Swords are cooler than guns every time.

Pisses me off that the film isn't showing in my area.

Yeah it is on dvd already, but i also think was released here by magnolia pictures owned by mark cuban which does simultaneous release on PPV with theater releases.

Sucker Punch. If you enjoy seeing scantily clad hot chicks killing steampunk Nazis and dragons, this movie delivers. If you get hung up on things like having a coherent plot or suspension of disbelief, not so much. Still, I rather enjoyed it.

that was a very good movie
a cross between 300, Inception and Shutter island.  Wonderful

What I enjoy most thoroughly is that if we weren't following the main characters, the witch that attempts to destroy all the murdering vampires would be a Hero instead of a villain.
