I'm so in lesbian with that show.

Big Trouble in Little China.

1980's-version Kim Catrall hogtied.  That's what I'm talking about.

I prefer her role as Lassie in Porky's. :perv:

I'm still liking Weeds, even though it's a bit long in the tooth these days. will watch til the likely bitter end. great opening credits this week. best in a while. BAM.

watched the pilot for the Adult Swim cartoon version of "Black Dynamite" . I think it works better as an "Afro-Samurai" styled cartoon than it did a movie. well done, mercifully short and full of raciss stereotypes.

Battle:Los Angeles. Probably the worst film I've seen all year.

Try treating movies for what they are.

Sure, it had a cooky story line and horrible writing, but viewed for the action and the scenery, I thought it was pretty fucking good.

Though I guess you may have made  amistake and gotten "Battle of Los Angeles" in which case I see what you mean. :D

The horrible script and acting might have been forgivable, but it also managed to bore me. That is a fatal flaw for an action movie.

I'm looking for a new show to watch.

Weeds iz good?

Haven't seen much of Sopranos or OC, but the entire yay-hay-criminals-are-cool genre typically bores me. Is it a mistake to give them a pass?

Or should I just download the entire run of Friends again..  :Embarrass:

OC? You mean the teenybopper relationship drama?

Actually no. I got it mixed up with that prison show. Although thinking about it, the two certainly have much the same social dynamics in that they're both featuring people from all walks of life forced together against their will for large parts of the day into confined spaces in order to protect the rest of society against them.

Maybe I was thinking about The Wire. Not a prison show per se I guess, though it features a lot of brown people and shots in prisons which granted goes hand in hand so the confusion is not really strange.
