Any idea how much of that is for real drugs in contrast with Viagra, Propecia and the like?
None whatsoever.

Point being?

None at all, just curious. Haven't done much research on this (since all my medication is heavily subsidized).

Not gonna mention the hilarious "you are Dorsey" episode.  Not.... gonna...
So, I was kicking and screaming, and I provided some entertainment.  You did too, by trying to be Sherlock Holmes and instead showing yourself to be Inspector Clouseau.
But who is Kato?
I do not hate you, nor do I love you, but you are made out of atoms which I can use for something else.

Pat

Sorry for bringing this thread to life again just when it died the death it deserved. Would've posted this sooner but I have not been able to log in to my account after it was changed. Anyway, this time I promise it will be my last post in the thread. Here we go...

Man up and just post in the thread then.

Quit begging for permission. It sickens me to see you grovel like this, Pat.

Whenever someone on this forum pushed me against a wall, I always stepped up the plate, even knowing it meant a 30 day ban. Shit, I think once I got a 30 day ban, came back for a day, and then ate another 30 days.

If anything, getting banned on the Paradox OT is a mark of honor.

Its a badge many of us carry. ^_^

Ah. But you see I am smarter than you. You were not banned because of some capricious moderator. You were banned because you broke rules you knew existed. You could have left if you didn't agree with the rules. And you probably broke the rules in the heat of the moment for no good reason at all. That is a very stupid thing to do. If you are going to break the rules, you should make it count.

Quote from: PatMaster, in a parallel universeJust to clarify: My intention is to leave the OT-forum, not the discussion.

I can now be found on another forum linked to this forum in many ways. They are even so linked that many posters can be found on both forums exchanging words with each other both in the threads here and in the threads there. The reason this other forum exists is that people can say things there that can not be said here. Which is why I can, for now, be found on this other forum.

Only came here to say this. Adios amigos. :) Oh, and page 29.

Languish was instrumental to my plans because I know Stonewall comes here. Which is why it's so easy for me to disregard the solipsists saying they don't care in the full expectation I should care about their opinion. I don't think I want to "adapt to Languish style" and become one of the regulars here. For one thing, the tone and style of Languish is very right-wing in nature. There is a Russian saying: If you sleep with wolves, you howl as they do. Languish is filled with people who believe in nothing. And if they believe in something, they believe in the irrational. Grumbler even told me once that if there is no God there is only nihilism. I feel sorry for him. I think he's a very sad old man, employing obfuscatory debating techniques until he win his arguments by attrition and his opponents give up, and then telling himself he's smart. What can people like these teach me about life and how to live it?

I believe in many things. One of these things is literature, and I believe greater truths can be communicated with fiction than with non-fiction. I can see why people here don't care about elaborately written posts. That's okay. I don't care about you.

I might still come here once in a while and post in selected threads so some people here don't think they've won the battle of ideas because they've made their little corner of the internet homogenous to their liking. I pick my battles carefully and try to win them, so maybe, in a few years time, I'll have double the post count I have now. We'll just have to see, won't we? This will be the last thing I write in this thread. In fact, I'm not even going to look at the replies, in case I'm tempted to reply to anything (though I might return to read some time in the future when the thread is long forgotten). So if you really want to tell me something or ask me something, you can PM me.

P.S.

Someone asked me for my list of enemies. I don't have a list of enemies and even now I don't consider anyone in this thread my enemy. It's just that sometimes offense is the best defense and I had to do something to keep above the surface so as to not to drown in the tidal wave of abuse coming my way. But if you want to know some of the posters who has given me a great deal of enjoyment over the years, and made me come back here to read (if not always to post) I can particularly mention Keynes, CountDeMoney, Neil, The Brain and Berkut (and many others, most of whom gone). All intellectually honest people, whose posts are often worth reading, even though I disagree with some of their politics and some of them are assholes (at least on this forum).

Thank you for your attention, gentlemen, you can now commence the speaking badly of me.

Jaron

You are not smarter than I am. I did not break any rules when I was banned. Uglyduck left, and with the shepherd missing the wolves descended on the herd.

Johan wanted me gone because I was a born again Christian, and if there is one thing a European hates, its a Jew worshipper.

What?
It is far better for the truth to tear my flesh to pieces, then for my soul to wander through darkness in eternal damnation.

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
Faye: Like an angel from the underworld. Or a devil from Paradise.

I started a thread about a documentary I had seen that discussed historical "fact" about the true existence of the Jesus.

About 5 minutes later I was banned.

About 24 hours later, I get an email from BiB "Oi!" saying I was banned for breaking the rules? What rule, I asked. "u kno wut u did" Will you clarify? No answer.

I broke no rules, it was a pre emptive strike against me by Johan and one I've never forgiven him for.

Winner of THE grumbler point.

I disagree that Languish is terribly right wing.  I think it's right wing on economics, generally speaking, hawkish and permissive.  But it's hardly absurdly so.
Let's bomb Russia!

Well, I can see how someone who thinks libertarians and objectivists are the same thing might say so.

I do wonder why you care so much what people on the internet think of you, Miglia.

Oh, that's right. You changed it to "Pat" since people kept calling you that.

"I'm going to come back so people don't think they've won"

Really?

Seriously?

Internet arguments are there to be won. It's mightily important in life!

Uhm European right wing? I don't think so. I am having trouble spotting differences between neonazi and communist practical ideas regarding economics
