The Ottawa Senators aren't exactly the New England Patriots of the NHL.

but I can't be a Sens fan, I'll just cheer when Kovalev dekes Komisarek out of his skates.

Thou hast been judged and thou hast been found guilty.

Canucks signed Raycroft as a cheap, replaceable backup/practice goalie. the problem is, he's still lost his game.

Toronto has like waht, 4 of the same players from before Burke? lol
Being lazy is bad; unless you still get what you want, then it's called "patience".
Hubris must be punished. Severely.

Hmmm, the Bluejackets sign Pascal Pelletier. Whoever the fuck that is.

They better give Nash some socoring help.

even if it's really just lateral moves, sometimes it's good to have a change.

still though, you can rebuild forever in Toronto. just like, inexplicably, Los Angeles.

It's going good for Burke, Monster has signed a 1 year contract with the Leafs.

Poor Toskala.

so the Leafs are going strictly on size for their moves?

Goalie looks like the most solid of their changes.

seems to be the plan: "if we are gonna suck (i.e tank), we may as well be big."

I was hoping to win it but didn't pick the right numbers in the last Mega Millions.

Balsilie would win if it was based on rational economics.  Instead the NHL seems to be obsessed with trying to keep the Coyotes in Phoenix even though they are neither competitive nor profiteable and will probably legally block him and buy the team for far less than what he is offering.

Canucks have made some all right depth signings for their D.

And the Players Union appears to be as stupid as ever by firing Paul Kelly for not being "confrontational" enough with the league.
