Apparently the Oilers and Sens have a deal in place for Heatley.  Now Heatley just has to waive his no-trade clause to make it go through.

Woot!

The Canes resigned Maurice to a multi-year deal than cried poor when it came time to resign Erik Cole and Chad LaRose. Nothing quite like losing ALL your energy guys at one time.

Go Canes! We should be good for another playoff run by 2012!

Hardly.  The Jets pwned in the Oilers in the WHA.

This is insane, especially Gaborik's deal.

With Gionta signing, it sadly means Kovalev is gone. Thankfully it means Koivu is also gone.

But really Gionta and Gomez were pretty successful on the same line with Elias back in 03-04
