What a great male feat, successfully having sex.

:P
Let me guess, you've never been married?

Okay, so instead of leaving oblique references scattered around the board...

My wife is pregnant.  It's still fairly early - due date is May 2010.

:yeah:

Feel free to put all pregnancy/parenting advice in this thread only, so I only have to ignore it once.

It's the end of your life.
You'll never be allowed to get out of the house now :(

Ah, actually, same advice we all gave to Malthus re:sleeping:
take turns.

One of you sleeps in the same room as the baby during weekdays (the one not working, ideally ;) ), the other one takes care of the kid during week-ends while the other parent sleeps.

Breast feeding is good for the baby, good for the father, bad for the mother.  And it restricts your freedom of movement by a lot.
I don't do meditation.  I drink alcohol to relax, like normal people.

If Microsoft Excel decided to stop working overnight, the world would practically end.

I do not hate you, nor do I love you, but you are made out of atoms which I can use for something else.

Seriously, Beeb should make her do all the work.

So I'm trying to come up with a list of all the topics I need to indoctrinate my child in.  Let me know if I am forgetting any:

-law and order
-good manners
-Blue Bomber football
-hard work
-God
-conservatism
-importance of education
-the Conservative Party
-to love the outdoors

What am I missing?
