But he does have a funny notion of how a leader who has just come in out of the cold and rejoined the international community is supposed to act.
He's given up WMD.  Libya and South Africa are the only countries to have ever done so transparently and voluntarily.  He basically gets a free pass for a while.

Ukraine and Belarus?
It is far better for the truth to tear my flesh to pieces, then for my soul to wander through darkness in eternal damnation.

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
Faye: Like an angel from the underworld. Or a devil from Paradise.

I don't see what the big deal is.  Crazier ideas are said in the UN every day.
Quote"This is a Russian warship. I propose you lay down arms and surrender to avoid bloodshed & unnecessary victims. Otherwise, you'll be bombed."

Zmiinyi defenders: "Russian warship, go fuck yourself."

At least from those countries' he's granting oil contracts to. :P

Let's bomb Russia!

The Minsky Moment

He has a point.

If the Security Council was properly doing its job, it would have bombed the living bejeezus out of Libya for its brutal war of aggression against Chad.

I'm embarrassed. I've been making the mistake of associating with you. It won't happen again. :)

He should give Obama an iPod full of his (Khadaffi's) speeches, so that Obama knows how it feels to be given a gift by a total egomaniac douche.

Yes, but he needs to grant us a bigger one to keep the "free pass" going after that little fiasco with the Locherbie bomber. :contract:

Ghaddafi's speech was almost as bad as Obama's, now the question is if Ahmedinejad can top them both.

I'm can't really boycott something I wasn't going to listen to anyway. But I suppose he'll do all his greatest hits.
