Note: we usually don't serve every dish on the list.

Went other dish. My mom makes a rally good stuffing. Which i guess is a misnomer since its not stuffed in the bird.

Thanksgiving is always on the second Monday in early October.

Sweet potatoes and cornbread are really not a thing you'll find at a Canadian thanksgiving.  Green bean casserole is optional.  But I understand the history of all three dishes.

But I have to say - who the fuck serves rice at Thanksgiving?  (unless stuffed inside cabbage rolls in a tasty holopchi that is)

Had to look up holopchi. I agree ukranian cabbage rolls are the superior ones. I'll keep calling them cabbage rolls though :P

Only German Kohlrouladen shall suffice!

I celebrated one Thanksgiving when I lived in the US and the turkey was my favorite dish as far as I can remember.

I picked the last option of course.  :frog:

Savonarola

In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and the Renaissance. In Switzerland, they had brotherly love, they had five hundred years of democracy and peace—and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock
