Valmy, that's a dangerous attitude to take.  You and I are reaching an age where things can start going wrong.  Often they can be fixed if caught early enough.  Make sure you keep getting regular check-ups.

Regular checkups? Sure. Going in to get something checked out again? No. My stupid life insurance then freaked out that I had had a test and started bugging me about it as well and threatened to drop me even though everything turned out fine. Fuck you insurance companies.

At least if I do nothing the life insurance will pay my family if I die.
do you have to have medical and life insurance on the same policy?

QuoteWhite House press secretary Sean Spicer on Wednesday offered a cryptic explanation for President Trump's incomplete, misspelled tweet that went viral overnight.

"The president and a small group of people know exactly what he meant," Spicer told reporters.

The spokesman's refusal to admit Trump made a mistake prompted laughter from members of the media at the White House.

:hmm:

How the hell else is Spicer supposed to do his job?  He's under orders to admit no mistake, make no apology.

I don't know. In this instance, Trump actually made a joke about it via tweet.

Also, he could always go with his conscience and quit.

That would be admitting a mistake.  And besides the problem wasn't that it was a typo, but that it was left there for hours without being fixed or corrected.

Thing is, you know Trump is right around the corner and has hammered him about what specifically to say to the very letter;  look at all the times they've been late with their press conferences.  Hell, for a while Trump floated the idea about doing all the daily press briefings himself.  The only thing stopping him is that he doesn't know enough about what's going on.

QuoteAlso, he could always go with his conscience and quit.

But he wouldn't beat me if he didn't care.

Had he done that, some of the coverage of the typo might have been diverted to other more serious matters, such as the complete clusterfuck of the trump presidency and his policies.

Look at Sav's post of the stories about this tweet on CNN. Stuff like this makes it obvious what a joke "reputable" outlets like CNN. The coverage may seem negative regarding Trump on its face, but I think it benefits him in the end.

There's another thing that stops him: he's a chicken shit.  That's why he limits access to press and even general audiences and keeps holding campaign rallies over and over.
