I try to play and immediately get bumped to an SNL sketch.

Probably because his link is set to go right to the end of the video.

I love the Lincoln Project. :)

They pretty much exist just to troll Donald Trump.  They like to run their ads on Fox News DC just so Trump can see them.

Remember as a PAC they're not affiliated with the Biden campaign.  So they let Biden do ads about Biden.  But as ex-Republicans they get to go after Trump.

There's another group that's good too: RVAT, or Republican Voters Against Trump.  But their ads take a different tactic - they get former GOP-voters to just make personal testimonials about how they can't possible vote for Trump.
Posts here are my own private opinions.  I do not speak for my employer.

I actually think that's a pretty terrible ad...feels like it's slouching down to Trump's level.
That's why I like it.  Fight fire with fire.

This is aimed at the core of Trump's Republican supporters, his base. There are segmented ads for each group of people.  They know their marketing stuff, it shows.

I think that one has a targeted audience of one. It's s pure troll to get him to lash out.

As a political ad, the Lindsay Graham one was more effective.

I can kinda see it working with people who admired Trump as a dynamic man of action.  It also ties into the rising displeasure with his handling of covid, which I mentioned in before.

So those American troops killed in Afghanistan recently? Done on Russian bounties. And Trump knew about it.

On the scale where you have him admitting he stopped covid-testing his citizens to avoid looking bad, this doesn't even register.

One of my all time favs at the end of that clip - Koppel telling Hannity he is bad for the country.  But they should have played the most damning part of that clip:

Quote"You know why? "Because you're very good at what you do, and because you have attracted a significantly more influential..."

Hannity: "You're selling the American people short."

"Let me finish the sentence. You have attracted people who are determined that ideology is more important than facts".

That is the explanation of the US failure to address COVID put as succinctly as possible.

Can't you keep your murder boner to one thread?

Really, you are going to keep shooting the messenger.  Denial by Americans is the problem, definitely not the solution.

I think there are few Americans on Languish are in denial so you must just be doing this because you like to gloat about dead Americans.

Pointing out that FOX news spouts nonsense that your political leaders follow in a death spiral echo chabmer is upsetting to you?  That is unfortunate.

That is quite evident, but you will never get CC to admit it, so I'd let it go.  CC's gonna CC.
