What does a TRUMP presidency look like?

So, to paraphrase an old story...

A fellow had just been elected as the new president of a large modern country. The president who was stepping down met with him privately and presented him with three numbered envelopes. "Open these if you run up against a problem you don't think you can solve," he said.

Well, things went along pretty smoothly, but two weeks later, public confidence took a downturn and he was really catching a lot of heat. About at his wit's end, he remembered the envelopes. He went to his drawer and took out the first envelope. The message read, "Blame your predecessor."

The new president called a press conference and laid the blame at the feet of the previous administration. Satisfied with his comments, the press -- and Wall Street - responded positively, the economy began to pick up and the problem was soon behind him.

About a month later, the country was again experiencing a slight dip in jobs, combined with serious foreign problems. Having learned from his previous experience, the CEO quickly opened the second envelope. The message read, "Reorganize." The president fired his national security adviser, and the country quickly rebounded.

After several consecutive prosperous quarters, the country once again fell on difficult times. The president went to his office, closed the door and opened the third envelope.

The message said, "Prepare three envelopes."

Trump got the first two out of order, but will be reaching for the third envelope soon, I think.

And there have been a lot of leaks that seem to be coming from those agencies - the leaks of all the calls from Trump to other world leaders for example.

These leaks come from the people in the White House, not the intelligence agencies.  They talk of what Trump says, never what the other leader said.  It is consistant with someone being close to the President while he makes a phone call.  Given his tendancies to make state business in front of everyone in non secure locations, it isn't very surprising that you would find links.

But on the other hand... if they have firm evidence that Trump or those in his administration are actually compromised by the Russians... what else are they supposed to do?  To just roll over and give Trump and his minions access to everything would be to lead to the deaths of how many spies and operatives within Russia?

A friend of mine pointed this out yesterday too.

So when Spicer inevitably gets sacked or runs screaming from the building, how cool would it be if he was replaced with King and JR?  They could just shout match one-liners over every question.
