There' s a man whose stock has fallen precipitately in the past three years. Once known as a man of principles re liberty he is now considered to be a gormless bellend and will forever be associated with the phrase "...as thick as mince"  :P

The woman who opened that big remain petition (currently on 4.4m) has been getting death threats :

.....probably just by slack-jawed morons with no actual plan; but even so this is completely disgraceful.

A tweet banner at a protest is pretty post-modern.

Especially as the tweet itself never existed.

What these guys have been doing is plastering embarrassing old statements by Brexit supporting politicians  in billboards all over the UK, these materials for the demonstrations are a new step. For instance, they're also covering the Farage promoted Leave march, showing some of his old material to the marchers and the press covering it.

Josquius

Nonetheless he said it as the banner says.

I get that.  My point is a screenshot of a tweet about a verbal statement on a banner is pretty post-modern.

The one good thing about the current Brexit situation is the government's 'negotiation' and 'diplomacy' couldn't get any worse, they can only get better.

For the love of God, don't say that!  The next thing you'll have is Prime Minister Johnson driving erratically around London throw his own shit at pedestrians.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

Oh it can always get worse.

Honestly, at this point, I think even Trump would have made a better go at negotiations. At least he would have been more entertaining.

Trump would get Britain out of the EU, and allow Russian bases built along the channel to keep it out!

There are rumours (also newspaper headlines) that some cabinet ministers are preparing to oust May and replace her with a 'caretaker' PM.
