At least Brexit has the desired effect on immigration:
QuoteNet migration to the UK has plummeted by more than 100,000 in the year since the vote for Brexit as EU citizens leave, new statistics show.

The Office for National Statistics (ONS) said the number of people moving to live in Britain long-term had fallen to 230,000 in the year to June, with three quarters of the drop
accounted for by EU citizens.

It's a shame we'll never get to see a world where the good guys won. As it is always seemed to me that at referendum time we had such a perfect storm of factors driving immigration to highs and that immigration from the EU would drop quite a bit in the years to come.

Massive, massive outrage. There is an ex-policeman claiming the current deputy PM Mr Green had THOUSANDS, THOUSANDS of porn thumbnails in the temporary folder of his work computer.

This gian, giant crisis now allegedly threatens David Davis as well as he threatened to quit if Green is forced to step down.

QuoteHe said the images were not extreme, as earlier reports claimed, and featured no images of children or sexual abuse.

QuoteA forensic examination found the material was viewed over a period of months, with Green's email account also being used on the same computer and in close temporal proximity to the sexual material being viewed.

CLOSE TEMPORAL PROXIMITY OF PORN THUMBNAILS TO WORK EMAILS. This is big, people, really big.

Only thing I could think is that he was accused of sexual harassment and apparently denied at the start of November that he had porn on his work computer - called it a political smear apparently.

If it gets rid of David Davis then who cares how stupid it is to be upset about this.

Don't agree. Forcing Victorian sexual values on politicians will either make them even greater hypocrites or deter people from entering the political field.

So Farange is keeping his EU pension? Sometimes I almost admire how hypocritical politicians can be.
Being lazy is bad; unless you still get what you want, then it's called "patience".
Hubris must be punished. Severely.

Josquius

Yep. He's a hypocrite. Not too surprising though. UKIP have been ran off the back of EU funding for years. They seem to see the way they leech EU money whilst doing nothing but trying to hurt the EU as an achievement

QuoteThe UK has conceded to EU negotiators that there will be no divergence of the rules covering the EU single market and customs union on the island of Ireland post Brexit, according to a draft negotiating text seen by RTÉ News.

The concession, if accepted by the Irish Government, would have far reaching implications for how closely Northern Ireland remains bound to EU structures.

But it remains an open question if the final text will be agreeable to both the Irish and British governments.

I wonder if Scotland will be asking for the same, if true.

They can be easily refuted if they ask, though. No GF agreements or Anglo-Irish treaties in their case, or another EU country demanding that in the negotiations.

Josquius

As said though this wouldn't work for just northern Ireland. The entire British economy would relocate there.
Has to be the whole of the UK keeping our rights or nobody.
