Brexit will probably amplify my embodiment of the "overpaid" part of that famous quote about Yanks in Britain...if not the other bits.

After making my post, I actually thought wouldn't it be a good idea to have a Languish London meet in the Spring, it could be themed 'the Languish farewell to the EU and hello to Brexit'.

If there was enough time Tonitrus and Garbon et all could take in views of the rioting and the food queues.

I like how the author claims that people were betrayed when the referendum result was for Brexit. If it had been the other way then I could see more of a point.

The referendum result, passed on a campaign of lies and mutually incompatible promises, was very marginally for a smooth and orderly brexit that made us all richer. No deal was scare mongering propeganda by the remain side.

People voted for a free market paradise Brexit that would turn Britain into Singapore and a nationalist-populist Brexit that would turn back the clock to the jolly old days of social Britain and for a Brexit that would keep out the immigrants and for a Brexit that would still allow British people and goods to enter Europe without a fuss and so on. 

The important thing is that control is being taken back.
