Blackbirds have finally established themselves in Iceland. In Reykjavík they've had a local population for 20 years but their range has also been spreading. Current nesting locations look like this.

Oh, I forgot, DOOM!!!  :D

I have tons of lizards in my yard in Vancouver island.  I still find it strange to see them in Canada even though they've been around for years.  Rumour is a pet store escape allowed them to establish themselves.

I love their powerful melodies compared to the regular redwing.

Extreme warming event in the Arctic is disrupting the jet stream. Polar vortex incoming. Alberta and Manitoba will be hit and then likely the American Mid-West and then likely the East Coast. Brace yourselves.

In several surveys, the overwhelming first choice for what makes Canada unique is multiculturalism. This, in a world collapsing into stupid, impoverishing hatreds, is the distinctly Canadian national project.

Yep. Warm and dry winter here in the south while the northern part of the country will freeze.

By the way, someone has put together a video montage of what the flooding looks like in the US Pacific Northwest.

The clip notes that this isn't being widely reported and I think that is correct. I guess there's just so much else going wrong in the world that a natural disaster doesn't get much mention. Especially since the cause of the natural disaster is climate change and that's just not worth mentioning any anymore?

Clearly a sign climate change is now totally solved and no longer anything we have to think about.

Yeah the perceived problem is still there but the incessant elite hysterics over every weather related thing was this very genuine Savronala thing.
