I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

This does not paint a very positive picture of vegans but I wonder if that's a result of cherry picking.

The vegans I knew would not have made attractive portraits either.  Lot of hair on the women.

Where in Croatia? The double cross or patriarchal cross is a common motif in heraldry over Central/Eastern Europe. It's on Slovakia's and Hungary's coat of arms, for instance.

Rijeka on the coast in the north. I've seen the double cross a lot, but the rest is a mystery, I wouldn't even know what to Google!
