In a weird way I find myself pulling for him. He became famous and a multimillionaire for really no reason whatsoever. Ok--that isn't unique in the world--but it kind of is for shlubby middle class white guys, and he didn't become a celebrity from a sex tape or something. All he had to do was not do something stupid like, you know, this.
Money doesn't buy you happiness.  Maybe Jared made enough money, and was now looking for personal fulfillment.

What a fucking idiot.

I don't get the attraction to girls that are just slightly underage like that.  If you MUST go after youths, is it that hard to find one that's 18?  What's the difference?

For my part I like older women though.

Someone underage is more likely to be naive and inexperienced enough to accept that kind of offer.

If you're Jared, do you really have to bank on naivete?  I'm sure that a "Hey, babe, can you help me carry that suitcase full of cash?" line will work well enough.

I don't know the man, but a combination of growing up fat, and being something of a national punchline for years, may well give someone self-esteem issues regardless of how much money they have (and I don't think being a fast food pitchman is all that lucrative).

Or of course he could just be a paedophile - and the kiddy porn charge does tend to support that.

A woman in Spain photographed a police car in a handicapped spot:

Under the new media gag laws she's been fined for more than 800 EUR for a "serious violation."

The law prohibits "the unauthorized use of images of members of the Security Forces that could endanger them or their families or risk the success of an operation."

The police say they were forced to park there, because there was an act of vandalism in a nearby park and they had to take whatever spot available to have a chance at catching the perps.

Wow, way to go Spaniards, convincing us you are not just a bunch of francoist neofashist thugs.

And what makes you believe that we're cool with that, you fucking asshole?

I haven't heard yet of people taking to the streets, tearing shit up.

By the by, a non-fucking asshole, what a waste of a hole. :weep:

Parking continues to be one of the worst things in the universe. Its the big thing that makes a driving focussed lifestyle so thoroughly unpleasant.
I drove 600km this week.
One particularly annoying moment came when the navigation system decided to lead me around the same two roundabouts a few times. I left them and drove a random direction then suddenly it knew where to go. Dang technology.
Also paying 6 euros to drive on a French motorway for 5 minutes, Bah.

Parking ain't a problem when you live in a place with enough space dude.

At home, I park in my garage.
At work, I park in the parking lot, which can get pretty full, but there's always a space.

No tolls either.  My only direct commuting cost is gasoline and then maintenance on the car as an indirect cost.

The gag law is a response to people taking to the streets, then filming police mishandling the situation.

It is far better for the truth to tear my flesh to pieces, then for my soul to wander through darkness in eternal damnation.

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
Faye: Like an angel from the underworld. Or a devil from Paradise.

Middle class shlubs created the global economy?

And interest rates were sky high in the 1970s and we were suffering through stagflation so not sure what that is going on about this 3.9% boat financing.

Presumably that's him financing his boat now vs. tuition financing now.
