The summer humidity in Williamsburg Virginia makes me wonder about those first settlers.

Think about how they just about all died off, then it makes more sense.

Also, must go places for food in the area:

- Sno-to-Go  (get a "stuffed" snow cone...snow cones mixed with soft serve ice cream is an ingenious combo)
- Food For Thought (great food, especially breakfast and lunch)
- Carrot Tree (good sandwiches, and good(or divinely worse, depending on how you look at it) baked goods.

And Peter Chang's, if you want Chinese food. Nawab for Indian.

I've been here about 15 times and never been to any of those 4 places mentioned. Taking notes.
I did Capt George yesterday to get that out of the way and clean my system out today (they served me too much! Oh wait, I served myself) so today the idea was a light dinner, ended at Peking mongolian bbq japanese buffet place and again stuffed my face. LOL

For cheap, mass Chinese food, Peking is probably the best there.

I think Food for Thought only does their breakfast on the weekends though (give the Mad Bison smoothie a try...it sounds like it would be nasty, but I rather liked it).  Their food and atmosphere are good.

Sno-to-Go is a must, especially in their crappy summer weather.

For "classier", but still really good food, 2nd Street American Bistro is also quite good.

Man, you guys have that place staked out.

My brother used to live there for work (sister-in-law and niece/nephew still do for now) when I was stationed back east, so I visited there often.  They live almost right next to Jamestown.

Jared Fogle, subway spokesman extraordinaire, allegedly paid a 16 year old $100 for sex. That is like the $5 foot long price point of prostitution pricing.

Dude is about to go down.

A woman in Spain photographed a police car in a handicapped spot:

Under the new media gag laws she's been fined for more than 800 EUR for a "serious violation."

The law prohibits "the unauthorized use of images of members of the Security Forces that could endanger them or their families or risk the success of an operation."

The police say they were forced to park there, because there was an act of vandalism in a nearby park and they had to take whatever spot available to have a chance at catching the perps.

I wonder if he is going to lose all his money in lawsuits.

In a weird way I find myself pulling for him. He became famous and a multimillionaire for really no reason whatsoever. Ok--that isn't unique in the world--but it kind of is for shlubby middle class white guys, and he didn't become a celebrity from a sex tape or something. All he had to do was not do something stupid like, you know, this.

This was a poorly timed post on my part. Jared is going to spend some time in the big house.
