That DirecTV wireless commerical with the marionette chick is creeping me the hell out.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FTb_Hd4K48I

I thought I was the only one in America that felt that way.

But it's kind of a goody creepy.  Maybe.

I think the voice helps.

Pink Panzer.

There was also a Pink Panther cartoon episode

But yeah I would totally get a pink Barbie Pzkw V for Lola if they made one.

I just found out my dad has COPD. :(
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

That sucks.  Sorry to hear it.  My buddy's dad was diagnosed with it a few years ago but seems to be dealing with it okay.

He congratulates the guy that just lost, and then when corrected and admitting he didn't watch the match, keeps going with a question.

An amazing realization just hit me:
In the developed world the amount of tanning salons per capita in an area is directly inversely proportional to the average attractiveness of the locals.
I demand scientific funding to investigate this startling realisation.

Do you think this might be linked to you having a thing for asian girls, and asian girls wanting to appear with lighter skin?

I'm not huge on Asians, and where I do find them attractive it's variable whether they're light or dark.
Even ignoring japan this rule applies to Europe taken alone. Britain is full of tanning places and it is one of the ugliest countries in the world, Spain doesn't have so many and it has a high average

I predict that you find a fairly good correlation between the number of tanning places and latitude.

i've no facts to go on here and am purely basing it on limited observation but I'm not so sure. They seem to be crazily popular in Britain, far more to be found there than in Sweden.
