I have my mom's antisocial tendencies and my dad's temper.

:D

So one or more of your siblings are gregarious and mild-mannered?  :P

Yeah, the sister in Oregon.

Your turn into one or the other, as you get older; I'm not sure if you can choose which one you become.  :(
I'm turning into both. It's awful :weep:

Though I phoned my mum to tell her this story. For years she's had cleaners in once a week, which means she always has to go home early on a Friday to clean the house before they arrive. Now I understand

I have my mom's depression and my dad's inability and lack of desire to relate to others.  I have neither one's employability, because you not only don't get to choose your genes, you also don't get to choose your generation.

I also have my mom's brother's hairline.  LOL.

The Internet is boring.

No longer surf with reckless abandon like I used to.

If she could only learn to no longer give a toss about that stuff, it makes life a lot easier.

I got Mom's temper and emotion, my sister got Dad's balanced rationality.
Thanks, Mom.

Hey, accountant jokes are only funny when DG is the target!

:P

I think you should assume that all such jokes are directed at him and exclude you.  Unless and until you begin overdosing on blueberries.  Then you are fair game.

I think it's the working class Liverpool sensibility to be honest. I mean she's climbed up the social ladder and compared to her family she lives in filth but she's still probably one of the most clean freak people I know. 'Cleanliness is next to Godliness'

Edit: And in fairness she does enjoy it. She'll send me and my dad to the pub with the dog, blitz the place and be a lot more cheerful afterwards.
