British people are not rational about houses

Your obsession with tiny lawns certainly isn't. A friend of mine called it "Living in the city while pretending to actually live in the countryside".

For no obvious reason, one of my cats just jumped and tore a big hole through the blinds right next to my computer desk.

Right next to my computer desk. :grr:

The reason seems obvious enough.

Spending four decades in the water probably ruined it.  :(

Actually, the frame is probably in pretty good shape, considering it was covered in mud at the bottom of a freshwater lake.

Yesterday, upon the stair,
I met a man who wasn't there
He wasn't there again today
I wish, I wish he'd go away...

Yeah, but the engine is probably FUBAR, as well as all the guts of the car.

Yeah, but the engine is probably FUBAR, as well as all the guts of the car.

But if you want to restore a classic care like that, what is important is that the frame, body panels and engine block are solid.  And they probably would be.

Still, frames alone are worth five figures nowadays.  The body panels look like they are in decent shape, too.
