Strangely I come from a family of accountants. My dad was one, my older brother is VP of accounting at a big downtown insurance firm. I was groomed for it. I guess I rebelled and picked the farthest thing from numbers I could find.

Best friend and I both made a solemn oath at the end of college "death before accountancy".

You don't need to guess his career.  :hmm:

Big wind and thunderstorm knocked out power to half the city around 3pm, including my office.  Servers died around 3:20 after the batteries ran out of juice.  Cal is pretty grumpy at the moment.  A lot of quarter-end deadlines are going to be missed.   I foresee a lot of pointless meetings in my immediate future. :)
