I manage to be 2180km on Boise Idaho.  :D

You were thinking of Boise, New Mexico?

The US one sounds impossible.

No worse than that, I'd forgotten it was a mountain state and assumed it was somewhere close to the Mississippi.  :D

Got 79k on the US one. Garland, Texas? WTF?

57k on my first go, I manage to be 2180km on Boise Idaho.  :D

And what's with the obscure Californian cities, for safety one goes for the centre of the state and their all 400km away in the far south.   :hmm:

With the Californian ones I realized that in case of doubt it was better to aim for the LA area.

That assumes you know where LA is, got 74k on my 2nd and last go and LA was one, knew it was southerly but not that far south, guess you live and learn.

I'll have a go at the Asian one that looks likely to have greater error possibilities.

They have one just for Pakistan, if you're feeling adventurous.

Ill give it a go.

The World one looks good, as they throw in lots of Chinese cities and its in part a rest of your fine hand motor control skills, got 161K on first go, but that is one thirty rather than twenty questions.

edit:
Pakistan is tough, 35k average error 304km.  :D

I now know all the states of India.  Mostly.

Fun fact: the United States city one tells you what state you're looking for, the Indian city... does not. :bleeding:

I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

80593 for Europe on first try. Only city I completely misplaced was Alicante, at the other end of the country.
