Looks like the Best Buy founder wants to take it private. 24-26 bucks a share.

Great move. For his company & for society!

Meh, Wall Street will just check it out, and then buy shares elsewhere, probably online.

I overheard a conversation between a Spaniard and some Canadians last night. He said that he thought Canadians were the most nationalist people he'd met. They bristled and said 'Americans!' He replied, 'I bet you all have Canadian flags on your bags, and you're wearing a hat with three Canadian flags on it.' They did and she was so they fell into a silence. I laughed. And then I missed Camper :(

Well yeah, they do, but it's always been a personal safety issue.

That way, they don't get mistaken for Americans by the hijackers and subsequently shot and tossed onto the tarmac.

No, it's more to do with Canadian attitudes to America than the host's. With the exception of Californian girls, who annoy everyone, Americans are always very popular when I've travelled.

Don't know why.  We're loud, exceptionally ignorant of the world around us, and don't have that Camusian "life ees shit"-waiting-to-die bullshit continental attitude.

When I was backpacking, the people most likely to have Canadian flags on their bags were ... Americans.  :D

Most Americans you meet travelling are really enthusiastic and often young, so it's the first chance they get to go out and get drunk. So they're always up for a night out and really go for it. Also whenever you travel there are lots of Aussies, so no one really finds the Americans that loud and obnoxious.

You do know kids get wasted here, right? Maybe not dead drunk in the middle of street Josq-style, but we do have plenty of opportunities to drink.
