Oh. Well her boyfriend (though now that it is year 11 she's taken to calling him her fiance - but then with no intended marriage date :D ) actually says that she's a wannabe black woman as she picked up a lot black sayings during her marriage.
"I've never been quite sure what the point of a eunuch is, if truth be told. It seems to me they're only men with the useful bits cut off."
I drank because I wanted to drown my sorrows, but now the damned things have learned to swim.

Netflix just added the ESPN 30 for 30 movies. Time to watch the U and Pony Excess again.

Me: So your search was fruitless?

I'm looking into new baseball card avatars. Stalin is fun, but I think I'm ready for something new. Maybe Nixon. Or Wilhelm II.

Broke my trusty mini Maglite the other day, so I started looking in to getting a new, better flashlight.   While doing this I found out there are "flashlight enthusiasts" who have dozens of flashlights and do things like take them to the driving range to see how far the light will shine, then post about their flashlights on their flashlight guy forums.  The internet is a weird place, man.

Anyway, I ordered this thing:

Waterproof, dustproof, apparently reliably makes a relatively large amount of light.  Alrighty then.  I look forward to breaking it as well.

Edited for spelling because ugh

I hae been considering the place of turkic cultures on the worldship. The world(ship) needs pastoralists and teashops, and half-lidded men who look on the changing world with a resigned indifference.

This is a bold step forward, as DIVERSITY FORCE inducts its first brown(ish) members.
It can't be helped...We'll have to use 'that'

Eric Dickerson is such a whiny bitch.

lol A&M got owned by SMU during Dickerson's recruiting.  Trying to be all smooth and give him the down payment for his sweet gold Trans Am.  SMU comes back and pays the thing off.  Gotta love the old SWC.  :P

I liked his faux fury at the Texas Alum who told him 'son you go to an out of state school we will make sure you never work in Texas again' or some lame good old boy shit.  And he was all like 'yeah I showed his ass' and then he goes to....SMU?  Um Eric SMU is an in-state school.

Nothing like what I'd heard at home: This quote from another Indian Quora user captures just how dim a view much of the world takes of some American social customs, particularly our practice of putting elderly in retirement homes:

Many Indians are very surprised to find out that there are large numbers of Americans who actually love their parents and siblings and wives and children and have normal, healthy relationships with them. Our media has them convinced that all Americans are very self-centered people who throw their kids out of their homes after high school, don't care for their parents, and divorce their spouses. And, I swear, it is literally true that many Indians do not believe that this is not true until they have been to the US and seen examples of good healthy family relationships themselves. I have had heated arguments with people who've never been to the US, but can give lectures on how screwed up family values in the US are.

Okay, what is his or her user name at Paradox? I JUST SAW A DOCUMENTARY ON CHANNEL 3.....

It recently occurred to me to me that Marty needs a visa to get to the US, and the US visa process can be a real pain in the ass. That is probably part of why he hasn't made it over and may fuel some of his animosity (the US Poland visa policy is stupid).
