In the 1984 Summer Games in LA, the entire Polish water polo team managed to get themselves disqualified at the same time. Apparently, they caused a major disturbance when they brought their horses into the pool.

Naw, the Jewish Messiah is more like a perfect king - he doesn't personally punch out bad guys.

The Golem, on the other hand, has super-strength, and is specifically intended to punch out bad guys.  Of course, he was also a horrible monster, which doesn't fit so well ... 

(The actual Biblical inspiration was, allegedly, Samson)
