Another first for me on this trip was I had a chick pilot for one leg.

Answer the question everybody wants to know please.

How did Yi survive the crash?
To sleep, perchance to dream. But in that sleep of death, what dreams may come?

My Niece seems terrified by my very appearance.  She has the same expression on her face as the clerks at Walgreen when I go there.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

Incidentally, the hat she's wearing in my avatar is not longer the hat she wears.  She now now has a cow hat.  My family seems to have an affinity for stupid hats.

Did he get the other leg for free?

Watching a report on TV, blood pressure rising.

Tell me people, in your country, when you rent out your flat, does the renter gain more rights than you have?

There are more and more people who not only cannot claim back their own property, but the people living in their flats amass huge debts to them.
And according to a lawyer, if you would feel like using force to reclaim your property from those who basically have stolen it, you are in big trouble - since he is the one possessing the flat, he is the one who have the right to legally respond to violence.

I wouldn't say more rights, but the rights that follow to one's domicile, so of course if someone enters your domicile without permission, and not under the proper legal authority, you have the right to respond with violence.  I'm pretty certain there's a legal eviction process in the Nepkoztarsasag.

Renters gain a significant amount of rights here, as far as I know, but eviction, though time-consuming, is hardly impossible.  I also believe that the landlord has the ability to gain recompense for missed rent payments, but the law-talkers would have to chime in on that one.

Hungary sucks.
The medievals were only too right in taking nolo episcopari as the best reason a man could give to others for making him a bishop. Give me a king whose chief interest in life is stamps, railways, or race-horses; and who has the power to sack his Vizier (or whatever you care to call him) if he does not like the cut of his trousers.

Government is an abstract noun meaning the art and process of governing and it should be an offence to write it with a capital G or so as to refer to people.

The bathroom has decayed to the situation that positively the only cure is to urinate in the sink while lamenting "YOU KILLED MY SON!" in a repeating, wavering voice

I hope the suitemates are suitably mortified for the horrible situation they have brought to pass

You know, I don't feel you  are equipped with all the information.

That obese mongoloid seems to have deliberately stopped up the toilet before taking his dump. I'd give Ser Unibrow the benefit of having malicious foresight, but his gargantuan feces, fiercely fecund in its fetid nature, is so frightfully green that I can't imagine he intended it, but rather with much groans and contortions birthed this horror that even now slouches toward Bethlehem.

To look upon it is to be at peace with man's mortality, even as it makes a mockery of the wabi-sabi aesthetic of transient beauty. It has defiled the living quarters beyond repair.

No, this is really the last straw. He has killed my son, and there is nothing but to be done but to sing the dirges as we urinate in the sink. (Certainly, none dares face the beast in his chambers)
