Anyway, attended a kiddie fundraiser for my son's Ukranian nursery school. It was a big event, partly organized by my wife. Dozens of toddlers and hundreds of adults, with the school putting on a musical playlet called "The Cat's wedding".

Canucks take note - it had Luba Goy of Air Farce fame as the MC, dressed in a cat outfit and cracking jokes in Ukrainian. Also singing & acting in the play.

Anyway it was an impressively large and elaborate event.

Meh, I have no idea what age is appropriate for what any more - when Carl was a newborn I used to get upset if he missed a "milestone" or elated if he exceeded it, but now I sort of go with the flow.

With one exception - I was elated when he was toilet trained, because that was a big relief.  :D
