I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein's brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops.

So the forum went a way while I was out.  Anything happen?

I went fishing with my dad!  I saw two ducks and a bunch of herrons.  I didn't catch any fish though.

I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

Your Dad catch anything?
It is far better for the truth to tear my flesh to pieces, then for my soul to wander through darkness in eternal damnation.

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
Faye: Like an angel from the underworld. Or a devil from Paradise.

Yes, two very small fish.

My dad took me along fishing a couple times. I guess it was his way of trying to bond. Unfortunately, I love eating fish but found the act of fishing itself horribly boring and uninteresting, even when I would catch something. If I want to hang out with friends to have some beers I can do that elsewhere. If I want to contemplate the serenity and calm beauty of nature I can also do that without a fishing rod. If I want to sit somewhere in the green and read a book I prefer doing so without having to keep an eye on the fishing rod.

Also it was to warm to wear black all day while sitting in the sun.  It wouldn't have been good for you.

While I didn't catch any fish, no deepones caught me so I consider it even.

Went on an expedition to buy a DS. Looked at Best Buy and it seems the games was mostly Timmay and girl games. Passed on buying that.

Timmay games? From your posts, my taste in games doesn't seem that different from yours.

He might mean anime.
I do not hate you, nor do I love you, but you are made out of atoms which I can use for something else.
