Quote from: Josquius on December 08, 2025, 10:15:11 AMI read the community involvement being just after 2019? That peaking at lockdown makes sense. Though a sharp decline after less so.

We barely have any data to go by than just an arrow going down. And it decreased at the same rate in a straight line? I am skeptical.

Is that supposed to reflect global sentiment or something more local (and if so, where)?

It is the US only.

I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

Second highest score in the Languish Fantasy league by a good margin and I'm gonna lose this week. Not even in close. <_<
It is far better for the truth to tear my flesh to pieces, then for my soul to wander through darkness in eternal damnation.

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
Faye: Like an angel from the underworld. Or a devil from Paradise.

This happened this morning in a ford near to here:

Why did they think it was a good idea to try and drive through 0.75m of fast flowing water?

And I mean it's not as if there was an alternative bridged route around the ford that adds a whole 84 metres* to the drive.

* I know this because I once measured it on a cycle tripmeter.

edit:
also guess at what point in the streams flow did they attempt this stunt?

That doesn't prove you're good, if anything it shows languish sucks :P
Being lazy is bad; unless you still get what you want, then it's called "patience".

Maybe satnav?

Just the other evening I was driving home and the motorway was closed because of some bellend, but I didn't realise this at the time and chose the Google Maps route that seemed to be going on the motorwway. Well it wasn't. It was dark, a downpour, and rush hour was forced on the regular roads. I missed a right turn but wasn't too worried I figured Maps will take me to the next one. Well it did. Through narrow (but not one-way) roads between fields barely wide enough for one car. Some gravel and dirt patches for good measure. All of this in the middle of a bloody rain that was being empires from a bucket seemingly.

My luck was that when a car did come from the opposite direction, they had to be somebody familiar with the road, as they stopped quite a while ahead of me (no doubt spotting my beam lights like I spotted theirs) where there was a. Jt of widening. Still the widening meant I had to go on a substantial deepnes of mud inches from a ditch on side and millimeters from the other car's mirror on the other :D. But I have made it.

I recall up Berwick once trying to find somewhere I'd never been Google maps set to driving wanted to take me through a hole in the city wall that would have been a right squeeze even for a mini.
Then there was the canal path business in the news not too long ago.
You'd think after 2 decades of this stuff they'd have fixed things to be a lot more conservative.
