On my side of the Canadian 2 solitudes, a lot of Arabic slang are making their way into the Québécois accent. I don't find it that jarring but it does make every kid sounds like they are trying to make it big on tiktok.

Interesting.  Also there is a weird silent d that is making its way from our Southern neighbours-maybe California?


So didn't sounds like di-int with a soft t at the end.
