So in preparation of switching to a new PC I'm copying my library folders over to an external hard drive. I notice there's an inordinate amouont of Error log files being copied, seemingly never stopping.

I pause to investigate where this is coming from. I find the folder STALINGRAD under mygames which is the culprit.

Apparently I briefly installed WEGO: Stalingrad and probably booted it up with my headphones switched off (and other audio disabled). Which led to creating OVER 2 MILLION ERROR LOGS about being unable to play audio within like an hour. Even deleting this is taking 15 minutes.

A fun little story here. Sister Jean was someone you looked forward to seeing when March Madness rolled around.  I felt kinda bad that it was Michigan that stopped Loyola-Ill's cinderella season. Sister Jean is remarkably resistant to aging.

Recently I joined a bunch of reddits related to indie games and pixel art. Almost immediately, my reddit adds started including ads on ways to deal with greasy skin and pimples

I have a bit of a back garden and have finally been getting on top of it, so looking up lots of gardening questions, ordering plants etc. I'm now being targeted with ads for orthopedic shoes

(The state of actual existing algorithmic surveillance capitalism via my Google ads is part of what makes me a little suspicious about the "hacking democracy" arguments.)

Edit: Once it ties in the gardening searches with a recent binge watch of Morse I'm going to mainly get adverts for Dignitas, I fear.

The ads algorithm so far as always had trouble with my way of browsing Reddit in both French and English that it serves me Indian ad.
