*edit* look up a siding installer if that's the case, so that a framer doesn't show up and do a piss poor job :D

It's this thing, I am not even sure it is something to worry about but me discovering it coincided with a weird one-time water leak on top of the window below (which in turn happened a week or two after the window was washed so maybe it was just trapped water getting out):

Not sure what I'm looking at here. The centre-right of the photo, just under the roof?

The small dark spot on the wall just under the top of the roofs white triangle

Start of a vent. Is it attic space upthere or inside?

No the neighbours (it's a semi-detached, we are linked to the direct mirror of our house) do not have that spot and we did not have it during the summer (last pic I could find). Had to be some asshole of a bird working there as they often fuck around on the roof.

I don't think there's a way in there from the loft (I certainly couldn't see one) but yeah I my concern is that there is an actual hole there into some sort of a cavity space where we'll water dripping in and wasps moving in etc.

Since I couldn't figure out what trade this falls under I am just going to ask this roofer guy to have a look and push some sealant into it while he is up there, he might also know somebody who can fix it in a prettier way.

There exists a rule of thumb in start up culture that says the optimum team size is "two pizzas". Meaning the amount of people two pizzas can feed.
....and they think this means 8.
Not 2.
