CNN legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin returns after 7 month hiatus caused by jerking off on Zoom.  :XD:

Honestly, it's six months too long.  I don't see a point of punishing someone severely for something which is clearly an accident, and it's not like he was busted doing something illegal.  I'm sure the women who saw him have seen an erect penis or two before in their life.

It doesn't have to be seen as a punishment.  It could be seen as damage control.

Wasn't he in a meeting? not sure how you accidently choke the chicken in a meeting.

Hubris must be punished. Severely.

I think masturbating during a meeting certainly warrants some kind of disciplinary action... Let's not cancel cancel culture either

The meeting was on a break, and he mistakenly assumed that he turned the camera off before he took the chicken out of its wrapper.

The medievals were only too right in taking nolo episcopari as the best reason a man could give to others for making him a bishop. Give me a king whose chief interest in life is stamps, railways, or race-horses; and who has the power to sack his Vizier (or whatever you care to call him) if he does not like the cut of his trousers.

Government is an abstract noun meaning the art and process of governing and it should be an offence to write it with a capital G or so as to refer to people.

The world would be a healthier place if everyone just shut their cameras off during zoom meetings.
I have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth.

I work for a camera(at large) manufacturer.

When we have zoom/teams meetings, no one has a camera on. Most of us actually don't have webcams.

My company uses MS Teams which lags enourmously when everyone has their camera on.
I hope they keep this feature.

Speaking of Teams.

Does anyone really use their call history so extensively that it needs to cover 1/3 of the interface?

My wife was playing a 60s playlist last night.  I asked her "Hey, man, is that Freedom Rock?"  She didn't get it.   :(

I played the ad for CB last night.  She asked me if it was a real ad or a parody.
In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and the Renaissance. In Switzerland, they had brotherly love, they had five hundred years of democracy and peace—and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock

:D I can see how she might think that.
