I know a couple that moved to Texas and then decided to move back to Iowa.  I asked them why and they said they didn't want their kids to grow up to be Texans.

When I first came to Texas I was a little 18 year old from Ohio. I got a job in a factory where I was the only white guy and I learned to speak Spanish. A 70 year old Vietnamese lady called me a yankee. That's Texas.

I would pick to live in Nevada before I would Texas. But, I've never been in the desert.
