I don't understand.

Its not something  that is traditionally seen in the UK, or indeed Europe. I've only ever encountered it in Korea before.

Yes, that's why they redubbed a line in Demolition Man, replacing Taco Bell by Pizza Hut since Taco Bell was unknown outside of North America.

Edit: Ok, apparently there are 52 Taco Bells in Spain, but they're heavily concentrated in Madrid and the Mediterranean coast, with a couple of exceptions.
