Does that mean Alaskan Women Looking for Love was canceled?   :(

An idea for a TV show.
It would be perfect for a show dealing with the subjective nature of reality or altered time lines or some such.
The same show.
Slightly different in different broadcast areas. Or in different broadcast times.
One minor character says a line instead of another.
A girl in red in the background rather than a girl in blue.
The Internet age would destroy it before it even airs of course.
But would be an interesting mind fuck.

Already happening.  The same movie airs in Hong Kong and Mainland.  In the HK version, the bad guy wins.  This doesn't get past the censors in the Mainland.  Only good guys win there.  So they change the ending and let the good guys win.

True, but the bad guy in HK is considered the good guy in the Mainland, so there's no actual difference between the versions.

This is for something I'm writing. What would be the most popular dating shows in the US right now? Stuff like First Dates or The Bachelor/Bachelorette.

Probably re-runs of The Dating Game.

If I am reading for a car rental that "Collision damage waiver (CDW) includes excess of £900.00" Does that mean that if I crash the car, I pay up to 900 to the rental company?

From my understanding yes, they will only charge you for damages to the vehicle up to £900.

Thanks. That's still shitton of money, I better find myself some kind of third party insurance covering me for that crap.

garbon

Yeah, also recall that's just damages for the car. Doesn't cover say if you hit someone and their car/damages to their person.

well, shit. I have quickly picked up a cover for like 6 pounds bu that doesn't cover third party injuries/damage. Damn. Is there even an insurance that'd do that?

garbon

I think it's generally an option you can get when you rent a car. One of those extras they push you on.

Ah just saw this for europe but you should check.

Ah, that's great to know, thanks garbon. I'll just make sure this is the case when I land, and let them bleed me dry for a proper insurance at the spot if it isn't. Otherwise I'll ride it on this cheapo third party one I have just got.

One of our regional brands (Estrella) has launched the first Spanish mass-market IPA. I've got to try it.  :hmm:

The microbrewery scene in Catalonia has come leaps and bounds in the past few years. I remember trying the first local craft beers 7-8 years ago and they were pure piss, but they have vastly improved since then. Now it seems the big brands are looking at getting a piece of that market. If we end up having a Spanish equivalent of Sierra Nevada I'll be happy.

Tamas

Hungary already has a mass market IPA. It's quite ok. i mean, here in England I'd never choose it, but it was not horrible or anything.
