What the fuck. I am in Khartoum, Sudan, and my flight out was cancelled due to poor weather in Istanbul. Now I am stuck in this not particularly nice place.

At least we are in a five star hotel now... let's see if Turkish has a solution tomorrow. Most flights from here go to places I would rather not go either, like Saudi Arabia or so. If they even have a seat...

Land borders are with Libya (war), Chad & Central African Republic (through Darfur warzone), South Sudan (warzone), Eritrea (no go area). The land border to Egypt is closed so that leaves Ethiopia, which is okay. Or a ferry to Saudi Arabia. If your best choice are Saudi Arabia and Ethiopia, you know you are stuck...
