One thing I love about Austrian supermarkets are the deli counters. Most are combined bread/rolls and meat. And almost all offer to make a roll with your sausage/salami/bacon of choice (for price of ingredients only - plus ktchup/mustard, pickle or whatever you want), and also offer warm cuts: various flavors of leberkäs, spiral bratwurst, frikadeller, pork roast with crunchy crust, other pork roasts, and other also offer pork knuckles or whole grilled chicken.

It's lunch time and I'm hungry and now I want things I can't have.
