Hod damn, I have no idea what happened with Firefox. I updated it this morning by accident and now it has not only erased all my bookmarks and stuff, but considers almost every website to be insecure, and blocks them. Even Mozilla's own support website is considered insecure!

Random thought on British weirdness: they seem to have an uneasy, almost hostile attitude to people sneezing, but they basically don't use handkerchiefs when their noses are runny. Like, I haven't seen once. It seems perfectly appropriate to be sniffing it back into your face the whole day.

Random thought on British weirdness: they seem to have an uneasy, almost hostile attitude to people sneezing, but they basically don't use handkerchiefs when their noses are runny. Like, I haven't seen once. It seems perfectly appropriate to be sniffing it back into your face the whole day.

The handkerchief and it's main function, that of protecting others from you cold/germs has all but died out in the UK. I'm the last person I know who still uses them.

Most Brits on public transport seem to be content to open mouth cough over other passengers without a 2nd thought.
