Shocking stat I came across today. 91% of people serving time in Spanish prisons are men.

Out of curiosity, I checked stats for the US and it's 93% there. I was aware of a gender gap in inmate population, but not that it was so shockingly big.

Cricket is infinitely sillier.

In cricket you score runs by shuffling between sticks while dressed like a Michelin Man and carrying building supplies.  You tap pitches endlessly to the side to stay alive.  Indians, one of, if not the, sillest people on earth, love cricket.

Cricket doesn't have any badass plays like the double play, the suicide squeeze, climbing the wall to steal a homer, or a close play at the plate.

You may not know them, but they make sense.

-If you swing and miss at any pitch, it is a strike.
-If you hit a foul ball with less than 2 strikes, it is a strike (a foul ball with 2 strikes is only a strike if you are bunting).
-If you don't swing, and the ball passes through the strike zone, it is a strike (the strike zone is the area between your knees and mid torso, over home plate).
