The annual Ed Anger Memorial Day cookout and party rally was a blast this year. The 2 black dudes drank most of the grape Henry's Hard Sodas. STEREOTYPES ARE REAL. But they are cool. I like them.

Also everybody enjoyed the burgers, hot dogs, potato salad and banana pudding.

My uncle died last week and his funeral is tomorrow.  We won't be attending as my Dad just got out the hospital and is too weak to travel and stay in St. Louis.  The viewing was this evening, and afterward, the priest was beaten and carjacked by four teens.  God, St. Louis is a shit-hole.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

I know some people moving to St Louis. I'd heard it was just dull as shit

I just bought a 500gb external HD. Brand new.....
Used spacd: 163mb, free space: 465gb.

1:.... How is 465 the same as 500?
2: how are the two 6000bytes total pdfs on there taking 163mb?

I have bought like 6 or 7 external harddrives, and they are all like that.  I bought an 8TB one, and there was like 7.1TB of usable space.  The customer is always short-changed

Dude, 8 terabytes? Why don't you just stream some of your anime instead of trying to physically possess it all?

8TB is just the newest drive.  I think I have close to 30TB combined

And no, I refuse to stream.  Better accessibility, able to watch anime anywhere, any time, full screen 1080p resolution, etc.

Since I started walking to work on a regular basis I've developed a burning hatred for cyclists.

An inordinate number of them doesn't give a flying fuck about things like traffic lights, street signs, being in the correct lane/sidewalks, weaving through pedestrians at a zebra crossing etc. And apparently 5 or 6 inches is enough safety distance when passing people from behind.
