Since you never use cash there is no change for people to keep. In Sweden I only regularly tip at restaurants (not fast food or similar).

Can you even tip at fast food places here in Scandinavia?  :hmm:

Most relevant for US Americans, but I'm sure the ROTW will have to chime in as well:

Phone in/Pick up food in person.  Do you tip?  If so how much?  I never do but the cute little Chinawoman who gave me my food tonight seemed most disappointed in me.

Man I hate the pressure to tip outside of times my food is delivered or I am at a restaurant. I am pretty sure I am not supposed to tip in those situations, and even if I wanted to there is no protocol guiding me on how much to tip.

This is one of the things I detest about the tipping culture.  Even if you're not in the least bit hesitant to part with your money, there are just so many opportunities to unintentionally stiff someone.  And then the people you unintentionally stiffed sabotage your service in the future, because too many of them seem to regard tips as bribes to not intentionally fuck up your service.

I wouldn't use that business again then.

Okay, but still that's a negative situation that did not need to occur.  And often times you don't know you're being sabotaged (especially if it's expressed as a preference for tippers rather than bad service for non-tippers).

Isn't Languish just one big negative situation that needn't occur? :hmm:

Here's a tip: get a better fucking attitude.

Don't know. You can beg at them anyway, which is why I stopped eating at Burger King.

Rupert Murdoch's ex-wife may be dating Putin.  Considering she previously split with Murdoch over a possible dally with Tony Blair, this woman is a powerful man chaser!  :D
