Surfer in a competition in South Africa fought off a shark.  He was unharmed.

The video is 7 minutes, the first 10 seconds and an interview with the guy at about 3:30 are the only parts really worth watching.

It used to be pretty popular to mix soda and ice cream. I've never seen the attraction.

Soft drink mixed with ice-cream was one of my favourites when I was a kid.  It is good, partly for the novelty, and partly as an excuse to have more ice-cream.

Yeah, most ice cream places over here serve soda ice cream floats. It's not a weird combo.
