Also, grossing people out is part of the fun.  I'm always up for fucking with the squares. :P

I think this is a form of self flagellation for being with women that don't meet your standards. You are sick and need help.

Actually, I only do it with true enthusiasm for women who meet my standards.  I find it very hard to maintain my own standard of excellence otherwise.

I still maintain that you are sick and need help. If not mentally, then probably from e coli or salmonella or something.
They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.

There's a fine line between salvation and drinking poison in the jungle.

I'm embarrassed. I've been making the mistake of associating with you. It won't happen again. :)

And you rant about never getting any practical benefit out of your law degree.

No degree required.

huh, wow, and here I had the impression from TV/movies it was 18 everywhere in the US.
Just down to California's dominance?

  Maybe cheap in relation to NYC, yeah.  Down here, they're a bit on the premium side.

It's odd because I even seem to recall that shopping around San Mateo (and certainly in Mass and Southern California). Not the case here though. Pretty much a steal.

When I was out in Monterey, CA, the Trader Joes was a cheapish, reasonably priced grocery...out here in Seedyland, people talk about it on the same super-premium level as Whole Foods.

I attribute it to be there being far more really low-end, crappy grocery chains out here.  :P

I pretty much stick to (besides the Commissary) Wegman's, TJ's, and a couple small-fry organic markets.

I'd say yes, Tyr.

I'd go with Jos's general willfull ignorance regarding things American. This isn't the first time we've discussed this but maybe the first time someone posted a map.

[I enjoy going down on chicks, and that's an included service.

But they poop from there.

What possible reason do I have to need to know this information beyond following very occasional plotlines in American movies and TV shows?
Its not wilfull ignorance at all. One doesn't need much will to remain ignorant of such information.

You seem to revel in your lack of information about many subjects / seems consistently surprised that things often differ from the perception that you've gleaned from movies.

Not really.
I' m just honest when something is new to me. Rather than do as many others on the internet do and play internet smart guy, writing their replies as if they've always known what they've just read on wikipedia.
This isn't a subject that concerns me at all so no matter how much it may seem common knowledge to Americans it was new to me.
And maps are cool and need encouraging.

Actually I think you are pretty aggressive on the topic of American dating which is the repeated example that comes to mind.

I don't think one has to be an internet wise guy to look at information from movies with a critical lens.

I have no issue whatsoever with Squeeze not knowing this or that factoid about America, and I ao have an issue with him having ridiculous preconcieved notions about America.
