This forum now has an anime thread.  <_< I'd mock it there, but I don't want the smilie box face attached to said abomination.
To sleep, perchance to dream. But in that sleep of death, what dreams may come?

If it makes you feel any better, languish's anime taste is full-on plebian and makes me chortle while being basted with oils.
It can't be helped...We'll have to use 'that'

No, I'm getting my masters in history at the university I work at.
Are you at least able to get that tuition-free because you're an employee?

Yeah, a free MA is better than none at all, right?

I did learn braille!

But art museum? Maybe you balls of light have those in yurop, but you fail to understand the situation of existing in Martin, TN.
Isn't there are full scale model of the Parthenon somewhere in Tennessee. Go see that.

I think you're missing the gist of PDH's suggestion. -_-

Anyone catch the Chrysler/Eastwood "Halftime in America" commercial during the Super Duper Bowl?

Anyone following the political debate?  In a nutshell, some Republicans (principally Karl Rove) are arguing that the ad was an endorsement of an Obama second term and constituted pay back for his auto bailouts.  Democrats are saying it was an awesome ad and Rove is full of shit.

I thought Eastwood was a Republican.  Wasn't he like a mayor or something out in California.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

Definitely seems to be a bit of a gun nut.

Dem or GOP?

I say we split the difference. Mediocre ad and Karl Rove is full of shit.

Eastwood is neither Repub nor Dem, he is his own type of person.  He ran and won in Carmel (my home town) because he felt the regulations the community pushed were getting out of hand.  If anything, he is left-leaning on social issues, right-leaning on regulatory ones.
I have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth.
