Ouch, what a disaster of a turn for the poor Prots. :(

French fighting French, deciding who is going to retreat is like dividing by zero. :(

The Unrest in Boulogne shouldn't have been removed when Foxe's was cancelled.

I played my HC for a Rebellion in Rouen and only got one hit, which means the Galleon there was not killed, right?  If so I am done and could the next file put the Unrest back in Boulogne por favor?

7CP Rebellion in Rouen (Home Space give +1)

I believe the galley is killed:

"The power controlling the space eliminates one Catholic unit under his control from the space for each hit scored"

Step 2 of the rebellion procedure

Strange that looked more ambiguous when I read it a few minutes ago.  :hmm:

That seems pretty clear though, and since it is France that made the correction I will go with it and finish off the file.

sbr

OK I think I got all that right.

Removed French Galleon; Rouen, Boulogne and Chartres to Huguenot control with Rouen as Capital; added 3 regulars and the leader to Rouen; added Unrest back to Boulogne; Prots and French at war; VP adjustments.

There is a major discrepancy in the VP count between BC and ACTS so I am not going to touch that on ACTS for now.

Correct.  Rebellions only need 1 hit to kill each unit.  They are much more powerful than battles.
The medievals were only too right in taking nolo episcopari as the best reason a man could give to others for making him a bishop. Give me a king whose chief interest in life is stamps, railways, or race-horses; and who has the power to sack his Vizier (or whatever you care to call him) if he does not like the cut of his trousers.

Government is an abstract noun meaning the art and process of governing and it should be an offence to write it with a capital G or so as to refer to people.

QuoteSpain: Play Card as Operations
#78: 4 / Rising of the North
If Mary Queen of Scots is captured in England, Spain flips 3 spaces in England to Catholic religious influence. Spaces chosen may not contain a Protestant unit and must be within 2 spaces of a space that was Catholic at the start of the impulse. Then, if Spain is At War with England, Spain takes a Rebellion action in England as if 4 CP were spent. However if Spain is not currently At War with England, Spain adds unrest to 4 spaces in England (spaces chosen must be either unoccupied or under Catholic religious influence).

[FAQ: For the Rebellion action, follow the procedure in 19.4 starting with Step 2.]

The crowned heads of Europe are starting to look a little ill. The English are rumored to have some kind of magical elixir that can save most of them...for a small, very reasonable (surely) price.

Turks are willing to pay a card draw next turn for the magical elixir to be sent everywhere except Spain (and specifically the Spanish Navy).

Because England surely wants the Turks to have unlimited ability for piracy.

Spain will offer a card and a treasure next turn for the play on the Ottoman captain instead.

Remember I have no cards left and willbe passing out the turn.
