Took control of Alkmaar.  I guess the Dutch only get 2 Galleons total?

No luck on Piracy.

Protestant: Play Card as Operations
#79: 3 / Synod of Emden
Flip any 3 spaces in the Netherlands to Protestant religious influence. Spaces do NOT have to meet the Protestant Conversion Conditions (18.5). Remove from deck if played as event.

Message from Protestants:

1/3 Remove Unrest from Amsterdam.
3/3 Preach Sermons in France

Flipped Boulogne, Caen, Chartres

Assuming no response since they didn't respond to the previous attempt.

1st die is anti-piracy (Ravenna fort).
2+3rd dice are piracy.

ACTS dice-hacker works again.  No damage to pirates.  Pirates net 1 VP and a card.  To Sol to reward a random card, then I'll continue my impulse.
The medievals were only too right in taking nolo episcopari as the best reason a man could give to others for making him a bishop. Give me a king whose chief interest in life is stamps, railways, or race-horses; and who has the power to sack his Vizier (or whatever you care to call him) if he does not like the cut of his trousers.

Government is an abstract noun meaning the art and process of governing and it should be an offence to write it with a capital G or so as to refer to people.

The sooner the better for me, like this round would be great.

England: Play Card as Event
#52: 2 / Foxe's Book of Martyrs
Switch 2 spaces in England from Catholic religious influence to Protestant. Then take 5 Protestant Conversion attempts that can affect spaces in France, Netherlands and/or Scotland.

Berwick is only Catholic English space so it flips. I forgot an Unrest from my previous turn so I will put that on Boulogne.

Then 5 attempts in France.

Nantes and Amboise, another Unrest in Nantes.

I did 2 files because I forgot both Unrest the first time.

You can't flip the last space of either religion, so it doesn't.

France: Play Card as Event
#42: 2 / Catherine's Flying Squadron [RESPONSE]
May be used by any player as a Response card to cancel the play of any card from the list below. These events may be cancelled at any time: Foxe's Book of Martyrs, Huguenot Lent, Iconoclastic Fury, Jeanne of Navarre. These may be cancelled if targeting a space in France: Army Mutiny, City State Rebels, German Recruitment Curtailed, Sack, Treachery.

[FAQ: Play after event and target space is declared but before the event is resolved.]

Message from France:
Cancel Foxe's

Maximus

#64: 2 / Philosopher's Stone
Cancel the progress of a scientist. Remove the scientist's marker from the "Patronized for X CP" box and place it on the Turn Track to serve as a reminder that this power may not sponsor another scientist until next turn. The scientist reenters play next turn.

The Unrest in Boulogne shouldn't have been removed when Foxe's was cancelled.

I played my HC for a Rebellion in Rouen and only got one hit, which means the Galleon there was not killed, right?  If so I am done and could the next file put the Unrest back in Boulogne por favor?
